Elearning! Magazine Launches Elearning! Summits 2008

--The Virtual Trade Shows Reach Buyers Missed by Traditional Events

Corona, CA, February 2, 2008Elearning! Magazine, the industry trade publication produced by B2B Media Company, announced the launch of three Elearning! Summits to take place May 8th, November 6th, 2008 and March 5th, 2009. These virtual events will be first “Desktop Trade Shows” hosted in the e-learning market featuring live sessions, interactive exhibition hall and real-time networking lounge. The event opens live on the first day and remains on-demand for 90 days, providing attendees and sponsors 24/7 access to information and buyers.

“Less than 5% of the industry actually attends a physical trade show each year, according to CEIR. The Elearning! Virtual Events target those executives and professionals who have pressing business that makes leaving the office for 3-7 days an impossibility,” reported JW Upton, Vice President of Elearning

The Elearning! Summit’s virtual trade show will have all the same components that visitors and sponsors expect. The Expo Center hosts interactive booths, signage and visuals. Visitors can search solutions by product or browse the rows of exhibitors.   Just like a face-to-face event, sponsors can host a video introduction to anyone entering the booth. Have your CEO greet every attendee, launch your next product with full sound and video-- all are available at your option.

During the scheduled event, each booth is “manned” by the company. The visitor can engage in a live chat during the show hours, e-mail the company for more information and/or view the resources in the booth—from live videos to product spec sheets or white papers.  Visitors to these events are very active—most spend over 3 hours at the event, visit 10 booths on average and 66% contact the company after visiting the booth.

“What makes these events so incredibly valuable to sponsors is every visitor is identified with detail demographics. Every attendee is registered, demographics are collected and booth visitors are tracked electronically.  A list of every visitor to a sponsor’s booth is then provided to the sponsor after the event. Plus, we keep the events live up to 90 days, generating more leads for sponsors.  The typical event hosts up to 1,500 buyers,” cited Upton.

In addition to the Expo Center, the Elearning! Summit virtual trade shows will host three topical sessions per day.  The keynote and two supporting sessions will address the theme of the event.  The May 8th event is titled “Learning Leaders Best Practices Showcase”, November event is “Elearning! 101 & LMS Selection Series” and March 2009 will be “Learning Leaders Showcase 2009.” No matter where a practitioner is in the adoption cycle, they will find content that speaks directly to them at the Elearning! Summits.

Like traditional events, sponsors are invited to support the event at a level that best meets their marketing objective.  Select from a variety of levels including Platinum, Gold and Participant levels offering the highest visibility possible to a minimum level of booth participation. The difference with virtual events is you can let the leads determine your level of sponsorship. Platinum sponsors will earn leads from all the visitors to the entire event. Gold sponsors will earn leads from the sponsored session and their booth, and participants who secure a booth will earn leads from those interested in their product.

“Like all the Elearning! brands, we have packaged the virtual events affordably. Participants can book a booth at a fraction of the cost of a traditional trade show. Plus, every participant will receive exposure in Elearning! Magazine, e-zine, web site and e-newsletters,” reported Upton.

The Elearning! Summits virtual trade show is one in the family of six media products serving the $60 billion e-learning market:  Elearning! Magazine, e-zine, Web site and Elearning! e-newsletters and Alerts.  In combination, these brands reach over 1.1 million executives, practitioners and professionals evaluating, deploying or implementing e-learning solutions across their enterprises.

To attend the Elearning! Summits, visitors need only to register at: www.elearning.b2bmediaco.com. Attendance is complimentary. To learn about sponsorship opportunities, call 888-201-2841 x844 or email: events@b2bmediaco.com.

The e-learning market is expected to grow 12% this year—one of the fastest in the technology space.  Valued at $60 billion in the U.S., the market is expected to top $69 billion by 2010.   “B2B Media Company is dedicated to delivering media options for niche industries. We are very excited about the launch of our 2008 virtual events,” concluded Upton.
